The Bromley, designed by Dalecki Design and furnished by Loam, is a humble and light-filled family home that supports a relaxed lifestyle.

The brief for the home was to deliver on the mantra ‘less is more’ and to ensure a spaciousness within the home. The owners were enthusiasts of mid-century Australian design and wanted to evoke a calm and minimalist atmosphere created by presenting a warm and enduring environment.

The furniture and homewares selected for this home played on clean lines and organic shapes. Tones like beige, grey or cream were chosen to achieve a crisp palette. Fabric and leather were amongst the selected textures. The timber cabinetry was dressed with homewares that provided an aesthetic appeal and contributed to the minimalist and relaxed atmosphere. Ceramics, sculptures and vases with organic shapes and earthy tones were displayed.

The focus of the furniture and homewares was on quality craftsmanship and natural materials; few well-chosen pieces that make a statement.
